Aurion was founded in 1974 by the idealists Inger and Jørn Ussing Larsen, who became pioneers of biodynamically grown grains in Denmark – long before organic became a familiar concept. Through their passion for ancient grains, uncompromising quality, and a strong focus on regenerative agriculture, Aurion has set the standard for organic and biodynamic grain production in Denmark for decades. With both organic and biodynamic products grown according to standards even stricter than conventional organic farming, Aurion’s work to promote biodiversity, responsibility, and healthier food is fully aligned with the principles of our LOCA Manifesto.
